IFLB-CONC-001 - InFlight200 1/200 Air France Concorde Pepsi F-BTSD
Preowned, mint, small wear on box
In April 1996, Pepsi launched its “Project Blue” rebrand, and Air France leased Concorde F-BTSD to carry it. The aircraft was painted in Pepsi’s new deep blue with white wings and “PEPSI” titles, and it flew a short promotional tour of Europe and the Middle East. It was the only time a Concorde wore a full non-airline livery. Concorde’s paint normally had to be white to handle the heat of Mach 2 flight, so the dark blue meant the aircraft was allowed only about 20 minutes at Mach 2 per flight. The tour lasted about two weeks before F-BTSD went back to Air France colours. Today it is preserved at the Musée de l’Air et de l’Espace at Le Bourget, Paris. This InFlight200 B-Models replica captures one of the most famous special liveries in aviation history.
