Description
IFLIF707AF0817 - InFlight200 1/200 Air France Boeing 707-328 F-BHSC
Air France entered the jet age in 1959 with the Boeing 707-328, its own version of the 707-320 Intercontinental. It was powered by four Pratt & Whitney JT4A turbojets, and it put Paris within a few hours of New York and of destinations across the Americas, Africa and Asia. Air France named its 707s after the famous châteaux of France, and F-BHSC carried the name “Château de Fontainebleau”. The early 707s wore Air France’s classic livery: a white top, a dark blue cheatline, bare metal below, the winged seahorse emblem on the nose, and a sweeping blue arrow on the tall tail. This InFlight200 replica depicts F-BHSC in its original 1960s colours.
