Wheels & Wings Hobbies opened on July 12, 1986 with 700 kits, two paint lines, and a dream. Nearly 40 years later we've grown into Canada's largest hobby store for plastic model kits, paints, and modelling supplies - carrying over 12,000 products across new kits, pre-owned and vintage finds, hobby paints, airbrush equipment, tools, Warhammer, and Gundam.
We do one thing and we do it well. Unlike general hobby stores, we specialise exclusively in plastic model kits, airbrushing, and the supplies that go with them - Warhammer, Gundam, armour, aircraft, ships, automotive, anime, sci-fi, and figures. What you'll find is Canada's deepest selection of plastic model kits, including the largest rotating inventory of pre-owned and vintage kits in the country.

Our goal is to combine the selection and convenience of a modern hobby retailer with the knowledge, personal service, and passion of a true local hobby shop.

We are the only Iwata Gold Crown Dealer in Eastern Canada, stocking the full range of Iwata airbrushes, compressors, and replacement parts. We also carry Tamiya airbrushes and compressors, plus everything you need to set up a complete airbrushing station from scratch.

Our shelves carry the manufacturers that matter - Tamiya, Revell, Airfix, Hasegawa, Bandai, Games Workshop, Meng, Dragon, Eduard, Italeri, Trumpeter, and many more. For paints we stock Vallejo, AK Interactive, Tamiya, Mr. Hobby, and Citadel across the full ranges, alongside thinners, primers, varnishes, weathering products, and pigments. We're a reference dealer for several of these lines, which is why we publish our own paint guides on the blog.
We are also Toronto's local Games Workshop retailer for Warhammer 40,000, Age of Sigmar, Horus Heresy, Kill Team, and The Old World - with new releases landing on launch day and Black Library titles in stock.

We've been buying pre-owned and vintage model kit collections since the day we opened in 1986. Whether it's a single rare kit or an entire estate collection, we purchase outright - no consignment - which means cleaner transactions for sellers and a constantly refreshed pre-owned inventory for buyers. If you're downsizing a collection, settling an estate, or selling on behalf of a family member, get in touch. We've handled everything from small lots to full lifetime collections, and we know how to value rare, out-of-production, and collector kits properly.
This is also why our pre-owned shelves look the way they do. Forty years of buying collections has given us depth in vintage Tamiya, Hasegawa, Revell, Monogram, Airfix, and dozens of other manufacturers - including kits that have been out of production for decades and rarely surface anywhere else in Canada.

Come browse in store or online - we generally stock one or two of each model in the retail area, with a much deeper selection in our warehouse and online catalogue. Whether newly released or pre-owned, new stock arrives constantly. Online orders ship across Canada from our Toronto store, usually within one to two business days.
