Description
IFLB-732-BA-05 - InFlight200 1/200 British Airways Birmingham Boeing 737-200 G-BKYL
Preowned, mint, box worn
In 1984 British Airways introduced the Landor livery: pearl grey upper fuselage, a midnight blue belly, a red “Speedwing” stripe and the BA coat of arms on the tail. It became one of the defining airline looks of the 1980s and 1990s. The Boeing 737-236 Advanced was the backbone of BA’s short-haul fleet across the UK and Europe. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, BA gave its regional bases their own identity, and aircraft flying from those hubs carried the city name after the “British Airways” titles. This InFlight200 replica depicts G-BKYL, a 737-200 marked “British Airways Birmingham” in the Landor scheme.
