MATPK-110 - Matchbox 1/72 Hawker Siddeley 125/600 - WWHP119253
Preowned, Resealed, Mint
The HS.125 was Britain's most successful business jet, and the Series 600 was the stretched, Viper-powered version introduced in the early 1970s. The RAF flew it alongside its Dominie trainers as a VIP transport with No. 32 Squadron at Northolt, which is exactly the scene in Roy Huxley's night-takeoff box art of XX507.
This is the original 1974 Matchbox tooling, made in England by Lesney, in the first-issue box style. It remains the only injection kit of the 600-series ever produced in 1/72, which keeps it in steady demand with airliner and RAF transport builders alike.
Box contents:
- Parts molded in three colours of plastic with clear parts
- Waterslide decals with two options: RAF No. 32 Squadron XX507, Northolt 1973, and the Hawker Siddeley Series 600 demonstrator G-AYBH, both in white over silver
- Instruction leaflet with colour chart
