MATPK-27 - Matchbox 1/72 Hawker Siddeley Hawk 1182 - WWHP111743
Preowned, Resealed, Mint
The Hawker Siddeley HS.1182 Hawk is a British single-engine, subsonic advanced jet trainer and light combat aircraft, designed to replace the RAF's Folland Gnat and Hawker Hunter in the training role. The prototype, XX154, first flew on 21 August 1974 from Dunsfold and the type entered RAF service as the Hawk T1 in late 1976. It went on to become one of the most successful jet trainers ever built, famously flown by the Red Arrows display team and exported worldwide, with over 900 produced and the design later developed into the BAe Hawk 200 and the US Navy's T-45 Goshawk.
