Description
MATPK-1 - Matchbox 1/72 Hawker Fury - WWWEB10110614
Preowned, Resealed, Mint
The Hawker Fury was the RAF's first operational fighter capable of exceeding 200 mph, entering service in 1931. A Rolls-Royce Kestrel-powered biplane, it became famous through the aerobatic displays of No. 43 Squadron "The Fighting Cocks" and also served with several export air forces, including Yugoslavia. The Fury's clean lines made it a direct ancestor of the Hawker Hurricane.
Original 1973 Lesney first issue of Matchbox's debut aircraft kit, moulded in two colours with window-display box.
