The Ford Focus WRC made its competition debut at the 1999 Monte Carlo Rally, Colin McRae's first event with Ford after leaving Subaru. Both cars were excluded for a non-homologated water pump despite setting competitive stage times. McRae went on to win the Safari Rally and Rally Portugal that season. Original new tool from Tamiya, 1999.
