The F40 was Enzo Ferrari's last car, built in 1987 to mark the company's fortieth anniversary and stripped of anything that did not make it faster. Kevlar and carbon fibre body, no carpet, plastic pull cords for door handles, and a twin turbo 2.9 litre V8 good for over 200mph.

This is Tamiya kit 24077, Sports Car Series No.77, first released in 1988. Body moulded in red with a full engine, detailed interior and suspension, chrome plated wheels, clear parts, and soft rubber tires. Decals cover the badging and instrument faces.
