The Twin Otter is the great Canadian bush plane, a 19-seat STOL workhorse built at Downsview that has served everywhere from Arctic gravel strips to Antarctic ice. The Canadian Armed Forces flew the CC-138 version on search and rescue and northern utility duties, and Roy Huxley's box art puts 440 Squadron's yellow-and-red 809 over the Rockies.

This is the original 1983 Matchbox tooling, and it remains the only mainstream injection Twin Otter in 1/72, later reissued by Revell but never duplicated. The kit includes the full choice of wheels, skis, or floats.
