Description
HASJS-145 - Hasegawa 1/72 Mitsubishi T-2 - WWHP111642
Preowned, Resealed, Mint, Writing on box (view photo)
The Mitsubishi T-2 was Japan's first domestically developed supersonic aircraft — a twin-engine, tandem-seat advanced trainer for the Japan Air Self-Defence Force, and the basis for the Mitsubishi F-1 strike fighter that followed. With its area-ruled fuselage and swept wing, it bears a strong family resemblance to the Anglo-French SEPECAT Jaguar. This is Hasegawa's original tooling (kit JS-145, series C16), a new-tool kit first released in 1978.
Box contents:
- Grey-moulded plastic sprues
- Clear parts (tandem canopy)
- Waterslide decal sheet (JASDF markings)
- Printed assembly instructions
Marking options: JASDF aircraft, including the orange-and-grey trainer scheme shown on the box (and other squadron options on the period decal sheet). Requires cement and paint. A straightforward late-1970s Hasegawa build.
