Description
AIR03012 - Airfix 1/72 Handley Page Jetstream - WWWEB10108785
Preowned, Resealed, Mint
The Handley Page Jetstream was a twin-turboprop regional aircraft designed in the mid-1960s to capture the US commuter market. Spiralling costs drove Handley Page into bankruptcy before full production could be established, but the design was revived by Scottish Aviation and went on to serve the RAF as its standard multi-engine pilot trainer and the Royal Navy as an observer trainer. This Airfix kit depicts the USAF C-10A variant fitted with Garrett TPE-331 turboprop engines, representing the 11-aircraft order that was ultimately cancelled due to late delivery.
