German armoured vehicles of the Second World War carried pioneer tools on the hull sides and rear decks, held down by sprung clamps and hinged clasps that are moulded as solid lumps on most kits. Replacing them with etched brass gives correctly thin, in scale fittings, and the tools themselves can then be posed loose or removed entirely for a worn field appearance.
