The Mitsubishi A6M5 Type 52 Zero was the definitive production variant of Japan's iconic carrier-based fighter, featuring a non-folding clipped wing and improved exhaust stacks for increased speed. It served as the primary Japanese naval fighter from 1943 through the end of the Pacific War, including extensive use in kamikaze operations. This special edition kit is tied to the 2013 Japanese film Eien no Zero ("The Eternal Zero"), which dramatized the story of a Zero pilot during the war.
