The BMW 635CSi ran as a Group A touring car in the 1984 Deutsche Produktionswagen-Meisterschaft (DPM, the predecessor to the modern DTM), campaigned by Brun Motorsport with Jägermeister's unmistakable all-orange livery. Hans-Joachim Stuck — former F1 driver and Le Mans winner — drove the #6 entry, taking a podium at Round 5 at Wunstorf. "New decals" rebox of Tamiya's earlier 635CSi tooling, issued 2012 with Cartograf decals.
