Description
20030 - Tamiya - 1/20 Lotus type 102B - WWHP112249
Preowned, Resealed, Mint
The Lotus 102B was the team's 1991 Formula 1 challenger, powered by a naturally aspirated Judd EV V8 and running a semi-automatic gearbox. Team Lotus was severely underfunded by this point, relying on Komatsu and Tamiya as title sponsors, and the car scored just three World Championship points over the season. Four drivers raced it across 1991: Mika Häkkinen in car #11, and Julian Bailey, Johnny Herbert, and Michael Bartels sharing car #12. Tamiya issued this as an original new-tool kit in 1992 and it has not been rereleased, making it one of the harder-to-find entries in the 1/20 Grand Prix Collection.
