Preowned, Resealed, Mint
Introduced in 1937, the Sd.Kfz. 231 (8-Rad) was Germany's heavy eight-wheeled armoured car, built on a Büssing-NAG chassis with all-wheel drive, all-wheel steering and driving positions at both ends for rapid withdrawal. Armed with a 2 cm KwK 30 cannon and coaxial MG 34, it led reconnaissance battalions across Poland, France, North Africa and the Eastern Front until the Sd.Kfz. 234 series began replacing it from 1943. Roden's kit depicts an early-war vehicle in overall panzer grey from the campaign in the Netherlands, May 1940.
