RMXH-627 - Revell 1/72 Spad XIII - WWHP111651
Preowned, Resealed, Mint inside, Box worn
The SPAD S.XIII was a French single-seat biplane fighter introduced in 1917, powered by a geared Hispano-Suiza V8 engine. Fast, sturdy, and a steady gun platform, it was flown by many of the war's leading Allied aces, including France's Georges Guynemer and America's Eddie Rickenbacker of the 94th Aero Squadron. More than 8,000 were built, making it one of the most-produced fighters of the First World War.
This is the vintage Revell "Authentic Kits" boxing of the 1/72 Spad XIII, litho'd in Canada with complete French instructions, based on Revell's classic 1963 tooling. Box art depicts a US-marked aircraft in the Rickenbacker style.
Box contents:
- Injection-moulded plastic parts on sprue, with movable wheels
- Pilot figure
- Display stand
- Waterslide decal sheet (authentic markings)
- Illustrated assembly and painting instructions with collector's three-view drawing and historical notes
