The Ferrari F40 was unveiled in 1987 to mark the company's 40th anniversary and Enzo Ferrari's last personally approved model. Powered by a twin-turbocharged 2.9-litre V8 producing 478 bhp, it was the first production car to exceed 200 mph. Built on a tubular steel and composite spaceframe with Kevlar and carbon fibre body panels, the F40 stripped away all luxury in pursuit of performance — no door handles, no carpets, no radio. A total of 1,315 were produced between 1987 and 1992. Revell (Germany) rebox, 18.1 cm finished length. Skill Level 4.
