The Ferrari F2005 was Scuderia Ferrari's 2005 Formula 1 challenger, powered by the Ferrari Tipo 053 3-litre V10. The 2005 season was Ferrari's most difficult in years: the revised regulations banning mid-race tyre changes exposed the F2005's weaknesses, and the team was outpaced by Renault and McLaren for most of the year. Ferrari's only win of the season came at the United States Grand Prix at Indianapolis, where the Michelin-shod cars withdrew after the formation lap over tyre-safety concerns, leaving Michael Schumacher to win ahead of teammate Rubens Barrichello in a Ferrari one-two. This is a new-tool kit from Revell (Germany), released in 2005.
