Description
PRSR72032 - Pro Resin 1/72 Temco TT-1 "Pinto" - WWHP113475
Preowned, Resealed, Mint
The Temco TT-1 Pinto started as a private venture, built to prove that a student pilot could begin flight training in a jet rather than working up through pistons. Temco engineered their Model 51 specifically for new pilots, and the US Navy bought a small evaluation batch as the TT-1 in the late 1950s, making it the first purpose built jet primary trainer to reach American service. The Navy ultimately went a different way, so only fourteen were built, and most survivors ended up on the civil register. It is an obscure aeroplane in an appealing trainer yellow scheme, and Pro Resin's 1/72 kit is one of the very few ways to build one.
- 1/72 scale resin model kit
- Highly detailed cast resin parts including fuselage halves, wings, tail surfaces, cockpit and undercarriage

- Waterslide decal sheet for two US Navy schemes, with 404 and 2S codes, 226 codes with cat squadron badge, national insignia, serials and full stencilling
- Illustrated instruction sheet with a history of the aircraft
- Paint and adhesive required to complete, neither included
- Resin kit, recommended for experienced modellers
