HASJS-017 - Hasegawa 1/72 Ling-Temco-Vought A7A Corsair II - WWHP111874
Preowned, Resealed, Mint
The Vought A-7 Corsair II was a carrier-based light attack aircraft developed for the U.S. Navy in the mid-1960s, designed to replace the A-4 Skyhawk in the strike role. The A-7A was the initial production variant, entering service in 1967 and seeing combat over Vietnam from USS Ranger the same year. Derived from the F-8 Crusader airframe but substantially redesigned for the attack mission, the Corsair II went on to become one of the most important naval strike aircraft of the Cold War era.
This is a rebox of Hasegawa's original 1967 A-7A Corsair II tooling (JS-017-250), issued in the "Authentic Kits" series.
