Description
PRR183 - Protar 1/9 Legnano Campionato del Mondo Roma 1932 1 A. Binda - WWHP113496
Preowned, Original seal, Mint
Alfredo Binda took his third world title at Rome in 1932, riding for Legnano in the team's distinctive olive green. He was the dominant rider of his era, winner of five Giri d'Italia and so far ahead of the field that in 1930 the organisers famously paid him to stay home. Protar of Italy tooled a short series of classic racing bicycles in the early 1990s, and this is Binda's championship machine, built mainly in metal rather than plastic.
- 1/9 scale multimedia bicycle kit, made in Italy
- Mainly metal parts, with plastic and rubber components
- Individually fitted wheel spokes, drivetrain, saddle and bar tape detail
- Display stand included
- Decals for the Legnano livery and head badge
- Illustrated instruction sheet
- A complex build best suited to experienced modellers
