The Bianchi Specialissima was the flagship of the world's oldest bicycle manufacturer, hand-built in Reparto Corse trim and finished in Bianchi's celeste green. This kit depicts the team bike of Bianchi's 1980 Italian championship-winning squad, from the era when riders like Baronchelli and Contini campaigned in celeste. Part of Protar's unusual 1:9 bicycle series - the box bills it as the first time the bikes of the great champions had been kitted.
