The Curtiss Hawk 81A was the export designation for the early P-40 series, equivalent to the P-40B and P-40C and known in British service as the Tomahawk. These aircraft saw widespread early-war use, serving with the RAF Desert Air Force in North Africa, the American Volunteer Group "Flying Tigers" in China and Burma, the US Army Air Corps, and the Soviet VVS via lend-lease. This short-run kit includes resin detail parts and decals covering four aircraft across these operators.
