NTT687-500 - Nitto 1/28 Elf-Tyrrell 008 - WWHP111761
Preowned, Resealed, Mint
The Tyrrell 008 was the conventional four-wheeled Formula One car designed by Maurice Philippe for Elf Team Tyrrell in 1978, replacing the radical six-wheeled P34. Built around a lightweight aluminium monocoque and powered by the Ford-Cosworth DFV V8, it gave Patrick Depailler his maiden Grand Prix victory at Monaco in 1978 after years of loyal service to the team. This vintage Nitto kit is a motorized "Line Control" version depicting Depailler's number 4 car in its elf and First National City Travelers Checks livery.
Box contents:
- Injection-moulded plastic parts, including pre-coloured blue body components (motorized curbside kit)
- Chrome-plated and clear parts
- FA-130 motor and Line Control steering hardware (requires two AA batteries, not included)
- Decal sheet for the number 4 elf, First National City, Goodyear, and Champion markings
- Printed assembly instructions
