MNC430856699 - Minichamps 1/43 Porsche 956 Brun Motosport 1000km Hockenhelm '85 Bellof/Boutsen

The Porsche 956 was the benchmark of the Group C era, winning Le Mans four years in a row from 1982 to 1985. Its ground effect aerodynamics and twin turbo flat six made it the car to beat for works and privateer teams alike. Walter Brun’s Swiss Brun Motorsport team ran this blue and white Schiesser-sponsored 956, and at the 1000km of Hockenheim in July 1985 Stefan Bellof and Thierry Boutsen drove it to victory. Bellof, the reigning World Sportscar Champion and one of the brightest talents of his generation, was killed at Spa only weeks later.
