MNC430616596 - Minichamps 1/43 Porsche 718 RS60 Targa Florio 1961
The Porsche 718 RS60 had already won outright at Sebring in 1960 when it lined up for the 1961 Targa Florio, run over the punishing mountain roads of Sicily. Stirling Moss and Graham Hill shared this #136 car, entered under the Camoradi banner. They led the race against far more powerful opposition until a transmission failure on the final lap, only kilometres from the finish, ended what would have been one of the great giant-killing victories. It remains one of the most famous near misses in Targa Florio history.
