Description
MNC430606543 - Minichamps 1/43 Porsche 718 RS60 Sebring 12 Hours 1960 Bonnier/G. Hill
The Porsche 718 RS60 was one of the most successful small-capacity sports racers of its era, a lightweight mid-engined spyder powered by Porsche’s 1.5 litre four-cam flat four. Developed from the RSK to meet the new 1960 regulations, it took a famous outright win at the 1960 12 Hours of Sebring, Porsche’s first overall victory in a World Sportscar Championship race. Two works RS60s ran that day, and this #43 car was shared by Jo Bonnier and Graham Hill, who would later become a two-time Formula 1 World Champion.
