MCLUA72328 - Model Collect - 1/72 Nato M1014 Mantractor & BGM-109G Ground Launched Cruise Missle

The BGM-109G Gryphon was the ground-launched version of the Tomahawk, deployed to NATO bases in Europe from 1983 as a counter to Soviet SS-20 deployments. Each Transporter Erector Launcher carried four missiles and was towed by a MAN M1014 8x8 tractor. The system was short-lived: all Gryphons were withdrawn and destroyed under the INF Treaty by 1991, which makes the combination an unusual and distinctly Cold War subject.
