Description
IFLIF80001 - InFlight200 1/200 PanAm Douglas DC-8 Clipper Light
Pan Am ordered the Douglas DC-8 in October 1955, on the same day as its Boeing 707 order, and launched the jet age with both types. The DC-8 entered Pan Am service in 1960 on transatlantic and Latin American routes. Like every Pan Am aircraft, each one carried a “Clipper” name. This InFlight200 model shows Clipper Golden Light in Pan Am’s classic early-jet livery, with a blue cheatline, “Pan American” titles and the blue globe on the tail.
