Description
HPH32029R - HPH Models 1/32 Letov S-328 - WWHP113724
Preowned, Resealed, Mint, added printed instructions.
Letov designed the Š-328 in 1933 as a two-seat reconnaissance and light bombing biplane. It was powered by a licence-built Bristol Pegasus radial, the Walter Pegas. About 445 were built, and it became the most important Czechoslovak military aircraft of the 1930s. After Czechoslovakia was broken up in 1939, the type served with the Slovak Air Force. In 1944, during the Slovak National Uprising, insurgent crews flew Š-328s against German forces under hastily painted Czechoslovak and Slovak insignia.
