The General Dynamics F-111 "Aardvark" was a long-range, variable-geometry strike aircraft, the first production swing-wing combat jet, capable of low-level high-speed penetration in all weather. The F-111E was an early-production variant with revised intakes; many served with the 20th Tactical Fighter Wing at RAF Upper Heyford in England through the Cold War. This kit represents that variant.
