Description
HEL79802 - Heller 1/43 Lotus F1 - WWHP111508
Preowned, Original seal, Mint
The Lotus 99T was the 1987 works Lotus entry, powered by the Honda RA166E turbocharged V6 and sponsored by Camel in a striking yellow-and-black livery. Ayrton Senna (#11) drove the car to two victories — at Monaco and Detroit — in what proved to be his final season with Lotus before moving to McLaren for 1988. Teammate Satoru Nakajima became the first Japanese driver to compete in a full F1 season. The 99T was notably the first F1 car to race with active suspension.
