Aer Lingus, Ireland’s national airline, was founded in 1936 and has flown with the shamrock as its symbol for decades. In January 2019 it unveiled its first major rebrand in more than 20 years. The new livery has a white fuselage, a deep teal tail with a modernized, brighter green shamrock, and teal engine nacelles. The Airbus A320 is the backbone of Aer Lingus’s short-haul fleet, linking Dublin, Cork and Shannon with the UK and Europe. Like every Aer Lingus aircraft, each A320 is named after an Irish saint.
