All Nippon Airways was the first Japanese carrier to order the A320, taking delivery from 1991 and putting the type on domestic routes as a replacement for older narrowbodies. The aircraft on the box art is JA8386, wearing the blue and white triton scheme with the 全日空 characters along the forward fuselage, the livery ANA carried through the 1990s before the 2002 rebrand simplified the tail. This makes it a useful period companion to any modern ANA build.
