Description
ESC9073 - Esci 1/72 Kamov KA-34 Hokum - WWWEB10104494
Preowned, Resealed, Mint inside, Box worn
The "Hokum" was the NATO reporting name for the Kamov coaxial-rotor attack helicopter that emerged from Soviet development in the 1980s, the type that entered service as the Ka-50 "Black Shark." When Western intelligence first identified the program, it was provisionally designated Ka-34, and ESCI's kit was tooled to that early, speculative understanding — so the box art and shape reflect what analysts then believed the aircraft looked like, rather than the production Ka-50 as it actually appeared. This is ESCI/ERTL's 1/72 tooling, made in Italy.
Box contents:
- Tan/cream-moulded plastic sprues
- Clear parts
- Waterslide decal sheet (Soviet markings)
- Printed assembly instructions
Marking options: Soviet aircraft. Requires cement and paint.
