The T-62 was a Soviet main battle tank introduced in the early 1960s, developed from the earlier T-55 and notable for being the first tank in the world to mount a smoothbore main gun, the 115mm U-5TS. Produced in large numbers, it equipped Soviet and Warsaw Pact forces and was widely exported across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. The type saw extensive combat from the 1960s onward and remains in service with some operators.

This is a 1/72 scale plastic model kit.
