EDU8036 - Eduard 1/48 P-40N Warhawk ProfiPack - WWHP111896
Preowned, Resealed, Mint
The Curtiss P-40N was the final and most-produced variant of the Warhawk series, introduced in 1943 with a lightened airframe, revised armament, and an uprated Allison V-1710 engine. By the time the N model entered service, the P-40 was being supplanted in frontline USAAF units by the P-38, P-47, and P-51, but it continued to serve effectively in ground attack and close air support roles across the Pacific, Mediterranean, and China-Burma-India theatres through the end of the war. The RAAF, RNZAF, and Soviet Air Forces were among the significant operators of the type.
