A 1/48 scale multimedia kit of the Macchi C.200 Saetta from Classic Airframes, the US producer known for limited-run, detail-rich kits of obscure subjects. Includes injection-moulded plastic alongside resin and photo-etched parts, with a highly detailed resin cockpit.

The C.200 was the Regia Aeronautica's primary fighter at Italy's entry into the Second World War — praised for its maneuverability but considered underpowered and underarmed against contemporary Allied fighters. It saw action in North Africa, Greece, the Mediterranean, and the Soviet Union. A more demanding build than mainstream injection kits, suited to intermediate and experienced modellers. Now out of production.
