The Sukhoi Su-25UTG is the carrier-training version of the two-seat Su-25UB "Frogfoot." Fitted with an arrestor hook and no combat systems, it was used to train naval pilots in deck takeoffs and landings aboard the carrier Admiral Kuznetsov with the 279th Shipborne Fighter Aviation Regiment.
