AMU35A008 - Amusing Hobby 1/35 FV215B(183)
The FV215B(183) self-propelled gun was developed on the basis of the Conqueror heavy tank. Its defining feature was a 183mm gun mounted in a rear-placed turret, designed specifically to defeat heavy enemy tanks. However, while design work was underway, cheaper anti-armour solutions were developed, and the project never progressed beyond a wooden mock-up. The 183mm is one of the largest-calibre guns ever proposed for a turreted tank — it makes for an extremely distinctive model.
