The Lancaster became the symbol of Bomber Command, flying 156,000 sorties between 1942 and 1945. This boxing covers two very different faces of the type: a white and black Tiger Force machine prepared for the Pacific, and a standard night bomber from 57 Squadron flown by the station commander at Scampton.
