Description
AIR392 - Airfix 1/72 H.P. Jetstream - WWHP113478
Preowned, Resealed, Some parts off sprue
The Handley Page Jetstream was a sleek twin turboprop feederliner aimed squarely at the American market, and a USAF order for the Garrett powered C-10A looked set to make it. Late deliveries killed that contract, Handley Page went under in 1970, and the design was picked up by Scottish Aviation to become the RAF's long serving multi-engine trainer.
This is Airfix pattern no. 392, their 1969 tooling of the Jetstream in 1/72 with the classic Roy Cross box art. Moulded in white with raised panel lines, clear cockpit and cabin glazing, and a display stand. Decals cover a USAF C-10A, 68-10378 of the 10th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron at Kelly AFB, the scheme the cancelled order would have worn.
- White styrene parts trees covering fuselage, wings, tail, nacelles, and undercarriage
- Clear sprue with cockpit and cabin windows
- 2 figures included
- Display stand
- Waterslide decal sheet with one USAF marking option
- Multilingual instruction sheet
