The Dassault Mirage 2000 marked a return to the delta wing after the Mirage F1's swept-wing detour, this time with relaxed stability and fly-by-wire controls that turned the delta's traditional handling drawbacks into an advantage. Powered by a single SNECMA M53, it entered Armée de l'Air service in 1984 and went on to equip air forces in Greece, India, Egypt, and elsewhere. The C-RDI was the interceptor variant with the improved RDI pulse-Doppler radar. This Airfix boxing in 1/72 uses the Heller tooling, moulded in France, with markings for a French interceptor and a Hellenic Air Force machine.
