Vallejo Model Air — Dark Mediterranean Blue
Subject: Aircraft
Hellenic Air Force / Mediterranean theatre blue — aircraft standard 1960s–1990s. Lockheed F-104G Starfighter (335 Mira, Araxos AFB), Vought A-7H Corsair II (336 Mira), Northrop F-5A Freedom Fighter (341 Mira). Also suitable for Italian and Spanish air force aircraft operating in the Mediterranean region with blue-grey schemes.
Application: Water-based acrylic. Thin with water for brush painting, or Vallejo Acrylic Thinner for airbrushing. Add a few drops of Vallejo Flow Improver to cut surface tension, improve levelling, slow tip dry, and allow water-based acrylics to spray like a lacquer or solvent-based paint. Aim for a milk-like consistency.
