Vallejo Model Air — Intermediate Blue
Subject: Aircraft
US Navy Intermediate Blue ANA 608 — tricolor scheme side surface 1943–1944. Grumman F6F-3 Hellcat (VF-5, VF-8 Essex), Douglas SBD-5 Dauntless (VMSB-241, Midway aftermath), TBF-1 Avenger, F4U-1A Corsair (VMF-221). Applied to fuselage sides and vertical surfaces between the dark Sea Blue upper and Insignia White lower.

USN Carrier Aircraft Mid-War — Side surfaces ANA 608 Intermediate Blue
Application: Water-based acrylic. Thin with water for brush painting, or Vallejo Acrylic Thinner for airbrushing. Add a few drops of Vallejo Flow Improver to cut surface tension, improve levelling, slow tip dry, and allow water-based acrylics to spray like a lacquer or solvent-based paint. Aim for a milk-like consistency.
