Dark Gull Grey FS 36231 — US Navy and USMC modern scheme. F/A-18C/D Hornet (VMFA-312, VFA-136), EA-6B Prowler (VAQ-131), S-3B Viking (VS-30). The darker component of the current-era USN Gull Grey over white or low-visibility grey scheme.

Application: Water-based acrylic. Thin with water for brush painting, or Vallejo Acrylic Thinner for airbrushing. Add a few drops of Vallejo Flow Improver to cut surface tension, improve levelling, slow tip dry, and allow water-based acrylics to spray like a lacquer or solvent-based paint. Aim for a milk-like consistency.
