Description

TTR35017 - Tristar Models 1/35 German Panzerkampfwagen IV Ausf C - WWWEB10104620

Preowned, Resealed, Mint

The Panzerkampfwagen IV was developed by Krupp-Grusonwerk as a 20-ton medium support tank. More than 12,000 were built between October 1937 and the end of the war, and it became the backbone of the Panzer divisions. The early Ausf.A through E carried a short 7.5cm gun with a turret-mounted MG34. The Ausf.C added an external armoured mantlet to cover the gaps around the gun. Only 134 Ausf.C were completed between October 1938 and August 1939, and six of those chassis were converted to bridge-laying tanks.
