The Bergepanther Ausf. D Umbau Seibert 1945 was a late-war German armored recovery vehicle based on the Panther tank chassis, converted in field workshops to support increasingly heavy and unreliable German armor during the final stages of World War II. Designed for towing disabled tanks, battlefield repair, and recovery operations, the Bergepanther combined the Panther’s robust hull and mobility with a rear recovery superstructure, winch equipment, and crane fittings. The Seibert 1945 configuration represents one of the late-war conversion styles with extensive internal equipment. Takom’s 1/35 scale kit faithfully reproduces this complex vehicle with a fully detailed interior, offering one of the most complete representations of the Bergepanther ever produced in plastic.
